Welcome to the department of Electronics and Computer Science at TCET, Mumbai. The department is located in a capacious environment with a state of art facilities and highly qualified faculty. The department works with the objective of addressing acute challenges faced by the Academia, Industry and the Society and is striving to set new academic standards with wide acceptability of their graduates in the industry globally. Perhaps, even more important is our endless commitment and perseverance towards our students, helping them to learn, cultivate, progress, and accomplish their goals in their chase to excel in their professional career.
Electronics Engineering started from the academic year 2008-2009 with an intake of 60. Now the department is renamed as Department of Electronics and Computer Science with the intake of 60. The Department of Electronics has been
already accredited for 3 years by NBA w.e.f 1st July 2016 in 1st cycle and reaccrediated w.e.f July 2022 in 3rd. Till date 17 batches have successfully passed out since the year 2012-13.
At present, department has 10 experienced faculty members and around 205 Undergraduate (UG) students. The faculty work with excellent team spirit in different technical domains like Digital Systems and Communication, Embedded Systems and IoT, Software Engineering and Systems, Intelligent Systems and Data Science, Cybersecurity and Networking which leads to fundamental research publications in these areas. The department has a professional body IETE, where the students get the opportunity to explore, enhance and showcase their talents to inspire the students apart from this we also organize regular training in software & hardware, workshops, seminars and International Conferences annually. The department endeavour’s to create a conducive environment for the students to flourish and aid them in their overall growth making them ready to be successful and competent in real world. The New technology needs for AI and ML included in the Autonomous syllabus.

The department is always ready to receive valuable inputs to aid us to propagate and hence is open to all Stakeholders’ to be a part of our growth.
